Dr. Krauter, born in 1949, initially worked for four years with a special research unit at Munich University and then for ten years as managing director with a German metal processing company. In 1992, he switched to management consulting and specialised in strategy formulation, internationalisation and executive coaching. He gained extensive business experience in China, which led him to become European partner with a Shanghai based consulting firm, working on many projects in Asia for German clients. Dr. Krauter advised joint ventures in China, coordinated an MBO from Du Pont and led start-ups into business. Other activities include counselling cultural organisations on sponsoring activities, giving lectures and writing on mediation.
Dr. Krauter holds an M.A. from Stanford University and a PhD from Marburg University.
